Handle termination with current transformer. Embodiments of Strom- vt = an, dlern are known in which the Stromtrans transforming devices are structurally united with other high-voltage apparatus. Such embodiments, in which, for example, the current transformers are arranged on Ülschaltdeckeln or combined with high-voltage bushings, usually form part of the switchgear.
In order to increase the safety level of the switchgear, the equipment is avoided where possible in the busbar and overhead switch rooms. In special cases, for example if the switchgear is to be equipped with a special protection system, it is absolutely necessary that the current transformers required for such protective circuits do not form part of the switchgear, but are switched into the current-carrying lines outside it.
The subject of the invention is a cable termination with current transformer. which is primarily intended to facilitate the installation of the current transformer in the line outside the switchgear. The invention consists in the fact that the cable termination and the current transformer form a structural unit.
The insulated cable core can be used as the primary winding of the current transformer, while the secondary winding is placed on an annular iron core which is concentric around the cable core and is located inside the end connector housing.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the subject invention. The current transformer is located in the termination.
Fig. 1 shows the end closure with current transformer, partly in longitudinal section, partly in view, Fig. 2 shows a cross section. In the end closure housing a, which is connected in a known manner to the lead sheath U of the cable, the ring-shaped current transformer c is installed so that
that .the like d with the secondary winding e concentrically surrounds the strand f serving as the primary winding. The strand f is insulated against the secondary winding e by the core insulation g. The terminals are used to connect the current transformer windings to the supply lines to the measuring instrument, protective relay, etc.
The end closure is filled with filling compound through the filling opening i.
