Description

  

  Procédé pour faire adhérer le béton, les revêtements, etc. contre les surfaces     lisses,     les solives, ferrures,     utilisées    dans le     béton    armé.    Il est connu que le béton, et principale  ment les revêtements de plâtre, de ciment,  etc. adhèrent mal aux surfaces lisses que  présentent les solives et autres ferrures en  robées dans le béton, ou apparaissant à  la surface de ce dernier, par exemple au  plafond.  



  Pour remédier à cet inconvénient, le  procédé suivant est préconisé, lequel consiste  en ce qu'on place sur la surface des solives;  ferrures, etc., destinées à être enrobées dans  le béton, du treillis métallique, disposé de  manière à épouser les formes     desdites.     



  La figure du dessin annexé illustre, à  titre d'exemple, l'utilisation de ce procédé  appliqué à l'une des solives d'un plancher,  représenté partiellement en coupe.  



  La solive 1, constituée par un fer à  double<B>T;</B> est entourée vers sa partie infé  rieure d'un treillis métallique 2, lequel  épouse ainsi la forme des parois latérales    de la solive, et est appliquée en outre con  tre la surface lisse 3 de cette     dernière;    la  surface lisse 3 est située sur le même plan  qu'une couche de béton 4, placée entre les  solives     que    comporte un tel plancher, et de  ce fait est appelée à être recouverte, ainsi  que le plafond constitué par le béton 4, au  moyen d'un revêtement 5, de plâtre ou de  ciment.

   L'interposition du treillis 2 entre la  solive et le revêtement 5 dont l'épaisseur  est faible, et qui a par conséquent tendance  à se fendre et à s'effriter, a pour     effet    de  faire adhérer la matière employée pour le  revêtement, contre la paroi 3, en la sou  tenant, et constitue en quelque sorte une  armature renforçant considérablement la  résistance du revêtement.

It is known that concrete, and mainly coatings of plaster, cement, etc. adhere poorly to smooth surfaces of joists and other fittings in concrete, or appearing on the surface of the latter, for example on the ceiling.



  To remedy this drawback, the following method is recommended, which consists in placing the joists on the surface; fittings, etc., intended to be embedded in concrete, metal mesh, arranged to match the shapes of said.



  The figure of the accompanying drawing illustrates, by way of example, the use of this method applied to one of the joists of a floor, shown partially in section.



  The joist 1, consisting of a double <B> T; </B> iron, is surrounded towards its lower part by a metal mesh 2, which thus matches the shape of the side walls of the joist, and is also applied against the smooth surface 3 of the latter; the smooth surface 3 is located on the same plane as a layer of concrete 4, placed between the joists that such a floor comprises, and therefore is called upon to be covered, as well as the ceiling formed by the concrete 4, by means of a coating 5, plaster or cement.

   The interposition of the mesh 2 between the joist and the covering 5, the thickness of which is small, and which consequently tends to split and crumble, has the effect of making the material used for the covering adhere to the wall 3, supporting it, and in a way constitutes a reinforcement considerably reinforcing the resistance of the coating.
