Marmite autoclave.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention La fig. 1 représente en coupe verticale le corps cylindrique de cette marmite; La fig. 2 en est un plan; La fig. 3 est une coupe verticale de la marmite complète ; La fig. 4 est un plan de cette dernière; La fig. 5 montre en coupe, à plus grande échelle, un détail du joint, cette coupe étant faite suivant la ligne A-A de la fig. 4;
Autoclave cooking pot. The present invention relates to an autoclave pot, particularly intended for cooking food.
This pot is characterized in that it comprises a body closed at one end and having at its other end a re-entrant collar in the center of which a concentric circular opening is formed, at least one notch being made in the collar at the edge of the opening, to allow the introduction of the field inside the body, of a cover whose diameter is a little larger than that of the opening and which comes to press to close the pot, against the internal side of the collar under the effect of internal-external thrust.
In its preferred embodiment, the body of this pot is cylindrical; it may have two diametrically opposed notches in its flange and the cover is centered using two tenons also diametrically opposed and entering the notches carried by the latter The cover may also have a central rod allowing it to be fitted to operate and remove it from the body after its introduction, as well as a valve forming a warning device and a safety device.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention. FIG. 1 shows in vertical section the cylindrical body of this pot; Fig. 2 is a plan; Fig. 3 is a vertical section of the complete cooking pot; Fig. 4 is a plan of the latter; Fig. 5 shows in section, on a larger scale, a detail of the seal, this section being taken along the line A-A of FIG. 4;
Fig. 6 shows in section the detail of the seal, this section being taken along line B-B of FIG. 4; Fig. 7 shows separately, in elevation, the warning valve; Fig. 8 is a vertical section of the same warning valve; Fig. 9 shows a second embodiment of the pot, plan view. As seen in this drawing, this autoclave pot comprises a cylindrical body obtained either by stamping a metal blank or by means of shaped and welded sheet.
The upper shell cal of the cylinder (fig. 1) is then folded inside perpendicularly to the sides of the body, in order to obtain a flange a2 while leaving a central opening b, of circular shape for the circular cover c .
Two notches a3, diametrically opposed, are then made in the glue a2 to allow the introduction of the cover c, field, inside the pot, this cover being a little larger than the opening.
To the notches a3 correspond, on the cover, two pins cl which, by taking their place in these notches, thus center the cover. The latter has two protruding parts c2 at the location of said tenons.
The cover c being inside the pot comes to rest against the collar a2, but with the interposition of a plastic seal d. It follows that the internal pressure instead of tending to separate the cover from its seat, as in ordinary closures, on the contrary presses it against its seal. Closure is thus all the more effective the higher the pressure.
The cover c also comprises a central maneuvering and return rod c3 freely engaged in a cross member e whose ends bear on the collar cal. This rod c3, threaded at its lower part, is provided with a wing nut c4 intended to hold the cover c in place when no pressure still exists inside the pot.
On the cover c is fixed a valve f operating from bottom to top and whose valve f 1 (fig. 8) is held on its seat either by a spring f = or by a counterweight.
The adjustment of the load of the valve f1 is established according to the time taken to cook, under a corresponding pressure, the green vegetables, the dried vegetables or the meats, etc.
The load will therefore be adjusted according to these data: it could be, for example, from 1 to 2 kg. Depending on the time required for cooking.
When it comes to a spring such as f 2, marks f 3 (fig. 7) will indicate the degrees of tension of this spring; this tension will be achieved by operating the bell f 4 properly, which forms a screw cap on the valve body.
When the valve f l is raised, a whistle f J, made in the bell, will warn that the desired pressure has been reached.
This valve also fulfills a safety role, by allowing the steam to escape when the pressure becomes too high in the pot.
In the autoclave pot shown in Figs. 1 to 4, the two notches a3 serving to center the cover c are symmetrical. The installation of the cover can then be done in two different, opposite positions.
In fig. 8, on the contrary, the notches a4 made in the collar a2 are asymmetrical with respect to the diametral axis x -x which passes through them.
Under these conditions, the installation of the cover is only possible in one position, always the same, which can be advantageous in particular for the preservation of the seal.
On the other hand, the upper edge of the pot can be folded down to 90, or be stamped in a position close to this right angle.
The shapes, details, accessories, materials and dimensions of the self-washing pot may vary.
As we understand the latter allows. Very fast cooking of food; Sterilization of accessories or liquids at a temperature between 100 and 150 degrees; The decomposition under pressure of certain organic compounds, or all operations requiring pressures of between 1 and 5 kg per cm 'approximately and temperatures ranging between 100 and 150 degrees C approximately.
In addition, the circular shape of the opening of the body and the centering notches allow a new manufacture and a very practical handling of the pot.
