Les fig. 1 et la sont des sections verti cales axiales du moteur et du réducteur de vi tesse; La fig. 2 est une section verticale du ré ducteur seul suivant A-A de la fig. 3-, La fig. 3 est une vuede fa-ce correspon dante; Les fig. 4 et5 sont respectivement une vue de face et un profil du porte-balais; Les fig. 6 et7 sont respectivement une élévation partielle avec coupe, et une vue en plan du pied support du dispositif moteur électrique;
Portable electric motor device. The present invention relates to a portable electric motor device, such as those used in particular for the control of the various machines and devices on farms which have electric current.
Currently known portable electric motor devices generally employ electric motors at constant speed, so that, in order to adapt them to the devices to to be controlled, it is necessary to lay down several speed reducers, O-Li, as some manufacturers have done, to set up reducers provided with several secondary shafts, each of which turns at a well-determined speed and corresponds to the speed of a given device. It will be understood that these solutions have the disadvantage of being complicated and of being able to be suitable only for the control of a very small number of devices. In addition, for the same device, only a few speeds can be used, which does not always meet the quality of the work required.
We can still have recourse to rheos tats, which allow the speed of the motor to be varied, but these devices are too cumbersome for portable motors.
The present invention aims mainly to remedy the above drawback, and relates to a portable electric motor device which, moreover, is provided with means for easily adjusting the height of the device. engine above the ground, and to couple it with the shaft of the to control device, even in the most general case where the shafts to connect angularly cannot be brought strictly on the same theoretical axis.
A this effect, the portable electric motor device, object of the present invention, is characterized in that it comprises a single-phase motor with, repulsion and a gearbox < B> with, single secondary shaft, the kant motor combined with an adjustment handle capable of rotating concentrically to the motor shaft, driving the brush holder with it so to adjust the operating speed and determine the direction of rotation at as you wish, this adjustment lever also being capable of undergoing a translation on a soli axis,
so to constitute a switch of the supply circuit and be locked in the stop position of the motor, the whole motor with the reducer being mounted on a rod which can slide in a tripod and be blocked at. the chosen height, the positive device finally comprising to couple the secondary shaft of the reduction gear to Parbre of the device îî order two bushings which are intended to adapt respectively to one and the other of these shafts and are connected to each other by a double universal joint.
The attached drawing represents, by by way of example only, one embodiment of this electric motor device.
Figs. 1 and la are axial vertical sections of the motor and of the speed reducer; Fig. 2 is a vertical section of the single reducer along A-A of FIG. 3-, Fig. 3 is a corresponding of view; Figs. 4 and 5 are respectively a front view and a profile of the brush holder; Figs. 6 and 7 are respectively a partial elevation with section, and a plan view of the support foot of the electric motor device;
Fig. 8 shows in elevation, with axial necks, the coupling device, between the secondary shaft of the speed reducer and a to. comma.nder device; Fig. 9 is a cross section following B-B of fig. 8.
The electric motor device, object of the invention, preferably established for reduced powers, is transportable so to can be brought, in front of the device to to control and mated to this one. It is moreover intended above all for the work of. farm where it is used for the control of various machines, such as cream separators, churns, crushers, tarares, haehe-chaff, beet cutters, etc.
A this effect., It is essential that it be adjustable in height on its support. This consists of a tripod in relation to which it can be raised or -, lowered and blocked at the chosen height, as it will be explained more away.
The motor of the example shown wedge carries a carcass 1 which supports the inductors and on the two lateral faces of which are applied two casings 2 and 3 which are fixed with screws 4.
The armature barbie 5 is supported at its ends by ball bearings 6 respectively mounted in an eloison 7 of the casing 3 and on the bottom 8 of the casing -). The latter partly contains the armature 9,
soli col- reader 10 and the brushes Il which are formed by brushes guided in the end surfaces # of a brush holder 12 shown in detail - by fig. 4 and 5. This brush holder is fitted with a crown which mounts on a 13 bearing surface of the housing 2 in such a way to bir angular displacements concentrically to the manifold 10. The brush holder is held laterally by a ring 14 attached and fixed to the housing by screws 15 which secure to this same casing an external 16. Two fingers 17 fixed on the brush holder parallel to the axis of the angular displacements of this latest,
pass through the bottom 8 of the housing 2 in openings in the form of ares (the. circle concentric to the armature shaft, so that these fingers then feel , from the outside of the housing 2, be used to vary the brush setting and consequently modify the engine speed. The movements of the fingers 17 are obtained by means of an adjustment handle 18 which also forms a switch for setting, or ] during T circuit of the motor.
This 1.8 lever is packaged with a block of insulating material such as ebonite for example; it could also be made of metal, insulating the circular copper contact. 24.
It is adjusted by a single central bore 19, on an axis 20 carried by the disc 16 and forming one body with it. the spring 21 is interposed between an aisle 22 of the lever 18 and ' the disc 16 (the way to move away from the housing 2, in the absence of any external cause, said lever 18. The fingers 17 engage ,, by their free end in a notch or perforation 23 of the handle, so to be angularly so lidaire thereof.
A ring 24 of a good conductive metal, and such as copper for example, is embedded in a groove cut on the inside face of the handle. When the latter is pushed to bottom towards the casing 2 and maintained in this position, the crown 24 is in contact with two # 5 wipers emided in sockets 26 </ B > in insulating material and fixed to the bottom of the housing 29. These wipers 25, subjected to the action of springs 26a, pass through perforations of the casing to come to rest against the conductive ring 24 and are connected by their rods 27, one to the current supply wire, and the other to the inductor winding.
The two insulated wires of the line: the one arriving # at. a ftot-tor and that of return coming from the inductor winding, are joined together in an insulating sheath 28 which penetrates in the casing 2 by a suitable opening. In, fig. 1, the various connections are not visible, except for the end of the wipers, but it is easy to see that if the. handle 18 is in the position shown in, fig. 1, the inductor winding is in the circuit of the power supply source. current.
When the letting lever 18 is sufficiently ka-1-tee of housing 2, the wipers '25, retained by the nuts 29 forming stops, lose contact with the conductive ring '21, the field winding is switched off and operation. engine is interrupted.
By niodifying, the setting of the brushes 11, we adjust the engine speed, and we can also reverse the #; set of armature rotation. The scale is modified by displacing, angularly the miniette 118 which carries with it the brush holder 12. via the fingers 17. </ B>
The axis 20 has a peripheral groove 30 and a short -cut c irconferential 31 joined by a groove 32 practiced following a generator. A finger, formed by the end of a screw 33 screwed into a tapped hole in the handle 18, can be locked in the groove 30 and the, bleeding 32. When the, lever 18 is pushed to towards the housing, the finger < B> 33 engages in the groove 30 after having slipped into the groove 32. By moving the lever angularly 18,
the finger 33 engages in the groove 30 and immobilizes the lever which keeps the spring 21 compressed. Angular movements of the lever with the aim of modifying the setting of the brushes can be carried out without the, my net abandoning the longitudinal position n which it occupies in FIG. 1 and which corresponds to the running of the engine. When the finger 33 is brought back in front of the bleeding 32, if we abandon the, handle 1.8 to itself, the res comes out 21 pushes it back to the e -., # _, end of the bleeding 82.
A slight angular displacement of the lever engages the finger 33 in the short circumferential notch 31 of the axis 20 and said lever 18 is locked in transfer to the engine stop position.
In order to facilitate all the above-mentioned maneuvers, the 18 lever is provided. of a handle or button 34 to knurled periphery, and its. external face can bear all useful indications combined with marks drawn on the housing 2 to indicate to the operator the positions of switching on, breaking of the circuit, reversal of the direction of operation and 'acceleration or deceleration of the engine, etc.
The housing 3, disposed at the front of the engine, contains a reduction gear with which comprises only one secondary shaft. The front end of the armature shaft to is cut in pin 35 and meshes with a wheel M mounted idle on an axle '37 and integral with a pinion 38 which leads a second train of two gears 39 and 40 (fig. 2) mounted crazy on an axis 41. The pinion 40 of this second train is constantly in engagement with a gear 42 wedged on the secondary shaft 43 of the reduction gear, this secondary shaft supported in a smooth bearing or bearing 44a.
As shown, in the drawing, the reduction gears are isolated from the engine by a partition 7, so that the housing 45, attached by screws 16 or otherwise, can be supplied with plenty of lubricant introduced by a lubricant 48a (fig. 3). The carcass 1 of the motor is extended to its lower part by a wise bos 48 drilled to receive a rod 49 rigidly fixed to the carcass. This rod 49 is mounted on a frame or support foot so to being able to slide relative to to the latter and to lock in the chosen position, for the purpose explained more high.
The support frame (fig. 6 and 7) has an upper part provided with a slotted celestial sleeve 50 and three sleeves 51 whose axes are.
arranged along the theoretical edges of a regular triangular pyramid ï a-, glove -, its apex on the axis of the central socket D-U. The sockets 51 each receive a rod or foot 52, secured by pins the 53. The central socket 50, which receives the rod 49 of the block,
moto-reductertr, is split following a generator as indicated above, and provided with two ears 54 that can be brought closer or apart at will. A this effect, - a rod 55 is just by its smooth part in a perforation of one of the ears and is screwed, by its threaded part, in a tapped hole of the opposite ear. The head 56 of the tio, e 55 is shoulder on an ear 54 and receives a handle of riian # oeuvre 57 articulated on it.
To couple the secondary shaft 44 of the reduction gear with the shaft of the machine or the control device, the aouplem-ent represented by figs. 8 and 9.
The coupling has two yokes, one of which, 58, is mounted on the secondary shaft 44 of the reduction gear and the other, 59, on the shaft < B> 60 of the device to to order. The clevis 58 is just by an axial sleeve 58a on the shaft 44, and is locked there angularly, by a pin 61 which crosses to, both the sleeve 58a and the shaft 44 and secures them to both regularly and longitudinally.
The clevis , 59 is similar in principle to the clevis 58, but its fixing on the shaft 60 of the apparatus to to order is different and designed to to adapt to the variable diameters of the various shafts to to be driven. A this effect, a series of bushings 62 fit into the bore of the bush 59a, the diameters of said bushings correspond respectively to that of a shaft specific device.
The angular connection of the. clevis 59 and shaft 6L) to. entraining eiigac, 6 in the suitable internal sleeve ble of the> series 62 is ensured by screws 63 screwed into threaded holes of the sleeve à9a and freely passing through the sleeves 62 coming to be blocked, by their end, on ar bre 60, to order. The connection between the screeds 58 and 59 is carried out, as already iiidized, by means of a double joint joint versel.
This is constituted by a double yoke 64 and whose arms are two to two dis, posed in two perpendicular planes and., 'Articulated by axes 65 on the discs 66 themselves articulated on the arms of the yokes 58 and 59. The axes 65 are formed by the smooth ends of 67 screws that fit into (the diametral perforations of the 66. discs. These screws are locked in tapped holes at the ends of the arms of the various yokes of the coupling.
It is clear that with such a coupling, the drive of the device to to be controlled always takes place under satisfactory conditions, even if, in the most general case, the drive shaft 44 and the driven shaft 40 cannot be strictly arranged on the same theoretical axis.
