      Terfahren    zur Darstellung eines Gemisches von     isomeren        Ringketonen    der  aromatischen Reihe.    Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines Gemisches von       isomeren        Ringketonen    der     aromatischen     Reihe, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,  dass man     o-Dichlorbenzol,        ss-Chlorbuttersäure          und    Aluminiumchlorid bei höherer Tem  peratur aufeinander     einwirken    lässt. Das Pro  dukt soll zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen       Verwendung    finden.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    Eine     Lösung    von 61 Gewichtsteilen ss  Chlorbuttersäure in 420 Gewichtsteilen       o-Dichlorbenzol        wird    unter Rühren mit  134     Geurichtsteilen    gepulvertem Aluminium  chlorid langsam versetzt. Man     steigert        die          Temperatur    bis auf     100      und darüber       und    hält sie einige Stunden. Hierauf giesst  man auf Eis und destilliert mit Wasser  dampf.

   Bei vorsichtiger     Destillation    geht an-         fangs    nur     o-Dichlorbenzol    über, dann ein  Gemisch verschiedener     dihalogenierter    Ring  ketone. Dieses Gemisch bleibt flüssig     und     siedet bei etwa 2,00  .

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Ge misches von isomeren aromatischen Ring ketonen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ss-Chlorbuttersäure, o-Dichlorbenzol und Aluminiumchlorid bei höherer Temperatur aufeinander einwirken lässt. Das entstehende Gemisch ist flüssig und siedet bei etwa 20010. Das Produkt soll zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen Verwendung finden.
