Automatic scales. The subject of the present invention is an automatic weighing machine with a fan-shaped display plate that is simple in construction, reliable in its work and can be made at relatively low cost.
According to the invention sits the Wag plate supporting organ on an expediently two-armed lever and is arm through a test carrier with a link, which is arranged within the housing of the display mechanism Ge. The said test carrier is provided between its ends with a cross piece which is connected to a pendulum resistance device.
An embodiment of the subject invention is on the drawing provides Darge.
Fig. 1 shows it in vertical section through the housing with a front view of the inner parts of the scale; FIG. 2 is a vertical cross section through the balance, FIG. 3 is a larger-scale representation of the rotatable connection of the link arm with the test carrier; FIG. 4 is an end view of the parts shown in FIG.
The Wagplatte 5 sits on the upper end of a cylindrical support 6, the lower end of which runs into a U-shaped bearing, the downward arms 6a are equipped with bearing blocks 7, which rest on knife edges 8a, which at the end of one arm 8b one two-armed lever. This lever rotates on knife edges 8e supported in bearings 9a, which are carried by sockets 9 resting on the base plate 10. Since the latter are located approximately in the middle of the base plate 10, the lever can be fully constantly housed in a housing 11 attached to that bottom.
The other arm (8d) of the lever mentioned is weight-loaded and forms part of the counterweight. The base plate 10 rests on adjustable feet 10a, which allow an exact leveling of the balance.
One end of a horizontal part 12a of the test carrier is fastened to the support 6, the other end of which is connected to a perpendicular right part 12b, which in turn connects to a further vertical part 12c by means of a mortise and tenon connection. This connection allows the vertical part of the test carrier to be changed in length.
The upper section of the part 12c is bent so that both this entire part and the part 120 can be accommodated in a housing 13 in which the display mechanism is located. The housing 13 is supported on the bottom housing 11 and is arranged in the usual manner at one end of the latter. The upper end of part 12e of the test carrier is rotatably connected to one end of a test link arm 14, the other end of which is hinged to a support arm 15 which connects to a bearing eye carried by the housing 13 GE.
The arm 15 can be adjusted in the vertical direction as required by means of two adjusting screws 15a. For access to the adjusting screws 15a is an opening attached to the housing 13 in the vicinity thereof, which is usually closed by a removable plate 13a.
At the upper end of the part 12e of the test carrier (see Fig. 3 and 4), a bow-shaped member 16 is attached by screws 17, the uppermost leg 16b directed against the link arm 14 has a triangular cross-section (Fig. 3) and through a bore 14a of the Len kerarmes 14 is enough. The diameter of this hole is approximately equal to that of the circle circumscribed by the triangular cross-section of 16b, so that the left end of the base line of this cross-section touches the wall of the hole 14a, whereby a substantially linear bearing of the triangular member is formed on the test carrier.
This results in an essentially smooth storage without unacceptable play of the knife edges occurring opposite the bearing. In addition, the details of the construction make cheap production possible by the parts can be made by pressing or stamping processes and the use of relatively expensive agate bearings, as they are otherwise common, is bypassed.
A crosspiece 18 is attached to the file 12b of the test carrier, to the free land of which the lower end of a flexible strip 19 is connected, the other end of which is firmly attached to the circumference of a lifting disk 20. The latter is mounted in bearing blocks 21 by means of knife edges 20a, which are supported by a support Z fastened to the housing 13. A screw bolt 23 is connected to the lifting disk 20, on which an adjustable counterweight 24 is seated as a resistance device.
The cam disk 20 also carries pointers 25 which play over a scale 26 arranged in the usual manner in the upper file of the housing 13.
. In an opening in the base plate 10, a piston brake 27 is housed, the piston 27a of which is rotatably connected to an extension 12d of the horizontal arm 12a of the Prüfträ gers.
A scale built as described above is simple to build, reliable in its operation and can be produced at relatively low cost.
