Watch movement. The object of the present invention is a watch movement which is characterized in that the winding and time-setting mechanism is mounted in an intermediate piece housed between the plate and the bridges and taking the place of a heel for a a certain number of the latter This construction makes it possible, among other things, to provide an intermediate part which forms, with the winding and time-setting mechanism, a whole independent of the rest of the watch and capable of being mounted on its own . It is therefore possible to break the winding of the watch even more than it has been hitherto, and this without embarrassing or delaying the other work of finishing the part.
There is shown in the accompanying drawing, <<by way of example, an embodiment .du watch movement according to the present invention.
Fig. 1 the watch seen from the side of the mi nuterie; Fig. 2 is a view from the side of the movement; Fig. 3 is a section along the line III-III of FIG. 2. In the first two figures, the plate and the bridges are drawn in lines and dots, while the intermediate parts are shown in solid lines.
Plate a is a thin piece of brass cut with the press and which is then subjected to the various operations aimed at (leveling it and practicing it either by drilling or by cutting the holes necessary to accommodate the stones and the tapping of the screws. The bridges are designated by b, c, d and e; the cock, by f. All these bridges consist only of a plank. They have little or no heels.
The parts which should form the heels of the bridges c, d, e as well as one of those of the barrel bridge b are united in an intermediate part g, tan say that the other heel of the barrel bridge and that of the rooster are united in a second intermediate part, h. In this second part is fully housed the re-assembly mechanism i. This one has nothing in particular, but with this second intermediate piece it forms an independent whole, capable of being mounted for itself and of being introduced into the. shows during reassembly of 1'Ébanche at the same time that one fixes the bridges., and that one places the cogs.
This way of doing things is a big advantage, because it makes it possible to use, for the winding of this time-setting mechanism, much less qualified labor than that which is employed for winding the finishing.
In the watch shown, the plate slightly passes the circle which circumscribes the periphery of the two intermediate parts y and h. It therefore forms caging notch.
Apart from the aforementioned advantages, the watch movement shown still has that of allowing the entire mechanism to be dismantled (reassembly without having to disengage the movement. The boards forming the bridges are held on the intermediate parts by screws which cross these and go into the turntable.
The.: Arrangement shown, that is to say the grouping of the heels of the bridges to form the intermediate pieces, is that given in preference to the thorn pieces. For my very soap bars, the. intermediate piece, _lans which is housed the winding mechanism (# and setting the time, is formed by the meeting of the heels of the cog bridges and one of the heels of the barrel bridge.
