  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.    111564.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes.    Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den     Azofarb-          stoff,    welcher durch Kuppeln von     diazotier-          ter        2-Amino-l-phenol-4-sulio,-:#Luxe    mit     Acet-          essig-o-toluidid    erhalten wird, mit     Alkali-          chromit    behandelt.

   Der neue Farbstoff bil  det ein gelbes Pulver, löst sieh in Wasser  mit     oranger    Farbe und färbt Wolle aus     sa--a-          rem    Bade in sehr gleichmässigen, echten  orangen Tönen an.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu<B>27</B> Teilen einer     Chroml-iydroxyd-          hydratpaste,    entsprechend 4,4 Teilen     Cr,0,     fügt man allmählich 14 Teile     Ätzkali    und  <B>5</B> Teile Glyzerin und erhitzt die Mischung,  bis alles in Lösung gegangen ist. Sodann  verdünnt man mit<B>25</B> Teilen Wasser, fügt  <B>20,7</B> Teile des Farbstoffes aus     2-Diazo-l-          plienol-4-suliosäure    und     Acetessig-o-toluidid       hinzu und erwärmt     zum    Sieden, bis der  chromhaltige Farbstoff in Lösung gegangen  ist.

   Etwaige     Abseheidungen    von     Chrom.-          o,xyd    werden     abfiltriert,    die Lösung mit Mi  neralsäure neutralisiert und der Farbstoff  mit Kochsalz ausgefällt.

<B>PATENTANSPRUCH: -</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Azofarbstoff, welcher durch<B>Kup-</B> peln von diazotierter 2-A-rnino-l-plienol-4- sulfosäure mit Acetessig-o-toluidid erhalten wird, mit Alkalichromit behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein gelbes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser mit oranger Farbe und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in sehr gleichmässi gen, echten orangen Tönen an. <B> PATENT CLAIM: - </B> Process for the production of a new dye, characterized in that the azo dye, which is obtained by <B> coupling </B> of diazotized 2-amino-1-plienol-4 - Sulphonic acid is obtained with acetoacetic acid-o-toluidide, treated with alkali chromite.
