Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den     Azofarb-          stoff,    welcher durch Kuppeln von     diazotier-          tem        4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    mit     Acetessig-          o-anisididsulfosäure    erhalten wird, mit       Chromformiat    behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff  bildet ein braunrotes Pulver, löst sich in  Wasser mit orangegelber Farbe und färbt  Wolle aus saurem Bade in sehr gleichmässi  gen, echten gelborangen Tönen an.

           Beispiel:     50 Teile des Farbstoffes aus     4-Chlor-2-          dia.zo-l-phenol    und     Acetessig-o-anisididsulfo-          säure    (letztere wird erhalten durch     Sulfieren     des     Acetessig-o-anisidids)    werden in 1000  Teilen Wasser gelöst und bei Siedetempera-         tur    mit 24 Teilen     Chromformiat    behandelt.  Sobald die     Farbstoffbildung    beendet ist,  wird mit     Kochsalz    ausgefällt.



  Process for the production of a new dye. It has been found that a new dye is obtained if the azo dye, which is obtained by coupling diazotized 4-chloro-2-amino-1-phenol with acetoacetic-o-anisididesulfonic acid, is treated with chromium formate. The new dye forms a brown-red powder, dissolves in water with an orange-yellow color and colors wool from an acid bath in very even, genuine yellow-orange tones.

           Example: 50 parts of the dye from 4-chloro-2-dia.zo-l-phenol and acetoacetic-o-anisididesulphonic acid (the latter is obtained by sulphonating acetoacetic-o-anisidide) are dissolved in 1000 parts of water and at the boiling point - treated with 24 parts of chromium formate. As soon as the dye formation is complete, it is precipitated with common salt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Azofarbstoff, welcher durch Kup peln von diazotiertem 4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phe- nol mit Acetessig-o-anisididsulfosäure erhal ten wird, mit Chromformiat behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunrotes Pulver, löst sich in Wasser mit orangegelber Farbe und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in sehr gleichmässigen, echten gelborangen Tönen an.
