Description
verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren 1Vlonoazofarbstoffes. Es wurde befunden, dass man einen sauren Monoazofarbstoff herstellen kann, wenn man die Diazoverbinclung des 2-Amino-4-sulfo-4'- niethyl-1,1'-diphenylsulfons mit Äthylben- zylanilin kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunoranges Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit oranger, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit gelber Farbe löst und Wolle aus essig saurem Bade in sehr gleichmässigen, lebhaf ten, vollen, licht- und waschechten, orangen Tönen färbt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 35,6 Teile der Diazoverbindung des 2 Amino-4-sulfo-4'-methyl-1,1'-diphenylsulfons (erhalten zum Beispiel durch Kondensieren der p-Toluolsulfinsäure mit 1-Chlor-2-nitro- benzol-4-sulfosäure, Reduzieren und Diazo- tieren des Kondensationsproduktes) werden in 500 Teilen Wasser verteilt und mit einer Lösung von 21,1 Teilen Äthylbenzylanilin in 11 Teilen Salzsäure versetzt. Die Kupp lung tritt sehr bald ein; sie wird durch vor sichtiges Abstumpfen der freien Mineralsäure gefördert.
Der gebildete Farbstoff wird al kalisch ausgesalzen und abfiltriert.
Process for the production of an acidic 1Vlonoazo dye. It has been found that an acidic monoazo dye can be produced by coupling the diazo compound of 2-amino-4-sulfo-4'-niethyl-1,1'-diphenylsulfone with ethylbenzylaniline.
The new dye forms a brown-orange powder that dissolves in water with orange, in concentrated sulfuric acid with yellow color and colors wool from an acidic bath in very even, lively, full, lightfast and washfast, orange tones.
<I> Example: </I> 35.6 parts of the diazo compound of 2-amino-4-sulfo-4'-methyl-1,1'-diphenylsulfone (obtained for example by condensing p-toluenesulfinic acid with 1-chloro-2 -nitrobenzene-4-sulfonic acid, reducing and diazotizing the condensation product) are distributed in 500 parts of water and mixed with a solution of 21.1 parts of ethylbenzylaniline in 11 parts of hydrochloric acid. The coupling occurs very soon; it is promoted by careful blunting of the free mineral acid.
The dye formed is salted out and filtered off.
