Description

  

  Drehbare Trockentrommel für     Stereotypiematrizen.       Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet  eine drehbare Trockentrommel für     Stereo-          t,fpiematrizen.    Das Kennzeichen derselben  besteht darin, dass auf der Aussenseite der  Drehtrommel bekleidete Widerstandskörper,  im Innern der Drehtrommel nackte     elektri-        o     sehe Widerstandskörper angeordnet sind.  



  Der Vorteil einer so ausgerüsteten     Trok-          kentrommel    besteht darin,     da.ss    die innern  nackten Heizkörper in den     Arbeitspausen    aus  geschaltet und erst nach dem Einlegen einer  feuchten Matrize in die Trommel eingeschal  tet zu werden brauchen. Bei     Stromdurchfluss     strahlt die -Wärme sofort unmittelbar auf die  Innenseite der Matrize, ohne zuerst einen  Stahlmantel oder dergleichen anwärmen zu       müssen.     



  Auf der Zeichnung; welche eine Trocken  trommel nach der Erfindung beispielsweise       tviedergibt,    stellen dar:       Abb.    1 eine Vorderansicht, und     Abb.        \@     eine     Seitenansicht    mit dem äussern Gehäuse,  in     beiden    Fällen teilweise abgebrochen, um  die innere Konstruktion besser zu zeigen.    Die zur Aufnahme der Matrize a dienende  Trommel b dreht sich um eine mittlere Achse  in einem Gehäuse c. Ausserhalb der Trommel  b sind die mit Stahlblech bekleideten elek  trischen Widerstandskörper d und in der  Mitte des Korbes die nackten elektrischen  Widerstandskörper e angeordnet.

   Die Wider:       standskörper    d erwärmen die Rückseite der  im Korb b befindlichen Matrize, während die       mittleren    Widerstandskörper e die Innenseite  der Matrize a bestrahlen.



  Rotatable drying drum for stereotype matrices. The subject matter of the invention is a rotatable drying drum for stereo t, fpiematrizen. The characteristic of the same is that on the outside of the rotating drum clothed resistance bodies are arranged, inside the rotating drum bare electrical resistance bodies are arranged.



  The advantage of a drying drum equipped in this way is that the bare heating elements inside have to be switched off during work breaks and only need to be switched on after a moist die has been placed in the drum. When a current flows through, the heat is immediately radiated onto the inside of the die without first having to warm up a steel jacket or the like.



  On the drawing; which reproduces a drying drum according to the invention, for example, show: Fig. 1 a front view, and Fig. \ @ a side view with the outer housing, partially broken off in both cases to better show the inner construction. The drum b serving to hold the die a rotates around a central axis in a housing c. Outside the drum b, the sheet steel clad elec tric resistance body d and in the middle of the basket, the bare electrical resistance body e are arranged.

   The resistance bodies d heat the back of the die located in the basket b, while the middle resistance bodies e irradiate the inside of the die a.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Rotatable drying drum for stereotype matrices, characterized in that coated resistance bodies are arranged on the outside of the rotating drum, and bare electrical resistance bodies are arranged inside the rotating drum.
