Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Aryloxynaphtylketons.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man ein     Aryl-          oxynaphtylketon    herstellen kann, wenn man        < uif   <B>2i</B>     Oxyna.phtalin-3-carbonsäure,    mit oder  ohne Zusatz von     Verdünnungs-        bezw.    Kon  densationsmitteln, aber unter Ausschluss von       Alkalien,        Benzotrichlorid    einwirken lässt.

   Die  so gewonnene     1-Phenylketon-2-oxynaphtyl-          3        -carbons < i.ure    bildet weisse Nadeln, die bei  205   unter Zersetzung schmelzen und sich in       Ätzalkalien    und in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure mit gelber Farbe lösen.  



       Beispiel:     19,5 Teile     Benzotrichlorid    und 18,5 Teile       --Oxynaphtalin    - 3 -     -carbonsäure    werden bei  Zimmertemperatur in 100 Teile konzentrierte  Schwefelsäure eingetragen und so lange zu  sammen gerührt, bis sich keine Salzsäure  mehr entwickelt. Hierauf giesst man in Was  ser, filtriert die ausgeschiedene 1 -     Phenyl        -          l@eton-2-oxynaphtaIin-3-cD,rbonsKure    ab und  reinigt sie durch     Umkristallisieren    ihres Na  triumsalzes.

       Example: 19.5 parts of benzotrichloride and 18.5 parts of --oxynaphthalene - 3 - carboxylic acid are added to 100 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid at room temperature and stirred together until hydrochloric acid no longer develops. It is then poured into water, the precipitated 1-phenyl-l @ eton-2-oxynaphthaine-3-cD, rboxylic acid is filtered off and purified by recrystallizing its sodium salt.
