Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Arylogynaphtyllietons.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man ein     Aryloxy-          naphtylketon    herstellen kann,     wenn.man    auf       1-Oxynaphtalin-5-sulfosäure,    mit oder ohne  Zusatz von     Verdünnungs-        bezw.    Kondensa  tionsmitteln, aber unter Ausschluss von     Al-          kalien,        Benzotrichlorid    einwirken lässt.

   Die  so gewonnene     2-Phenylketon-l-oxynaphtyl-5-          sulfosäure    bildet ein weisses Pulver, welches  sich in     Ätzalkalien    und in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit gelber     Farbe    löst.    <I>Beispiel:</I>    19,5 Teile     Benzotrichlorid    und 22,4 Teile  1 -     Oxynaphtalin    - 5 -     sulfosäure    werden bei  Zimmertemperatur in 100 Teile konzentrierte  Schwefelsäure eingetragen und so lange zu  sammen gerührt, bis sich keine Salzsäure  mehr entwickelt.

   Hierauf giesst man in Was  ser, filtriert die ausgeschiedene     2-Phenyl-          keton-l-oxynaphtyl-5-sulfosäure    ab und rei  nigt sie durch     Umkristallisieren    ihres Na  triumsalzes.

PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Aryloxy- naphtylketons, der 2-Phenylketon-l-oxynaph- tyl-5-sulfosäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 1- Oxynaphtalin-5-sulf osäure unter Ausschluss von Alkalien Benzotrichlorid ein wirken lässt. Die 2-Phenylketon-l-oxynaph- tyl-5-sulfosäure bildet ein weisses Pulver, w3l- ches sich in Ätzalkalien und in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit gelber Farbe löst.
