Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Arylogynaphtylketons.       Es wurde gefunden,     .dass    man ein     Aryl-          oxynaphtylketon    herstellen kann, wenn man  auf     1-Oxynaphtalin-8-sulfosäure,    mit oder  ohne Zusatz von     Verdünnungs-        bezw.    Kon  densationsmitteln, aber unter     Auss.chluss    von  Alkalien,     Benzotrichlorid    einwirken lässt.

   Die  --o gewonnene     1-Phenylketon-4-oxynaphtyl-5-          sulfosäure    bildet ein weisses Pulver, welches  sich in     Ätzalkalien    und in konzentrierter       Schwefelsäure    mit gelber Farbe löst.  



  <I>Beispiel.:</I>  <B>19,5</B> Teile     Benzotrichlorid    und 22,4 Teile       1.-Oxynaphtalin-8-sulfosäure    werden bei Zim  mertemperatur in 100 Teile konzentrierte       Sehwefelsäure    eingetragen und so lange     zu-          sarnmen    gerührt, bis sich keine Salzsäure       mehr    entwickelt. Hierauf giesst man in Was  ser, filtriert die ausgeschiedene     1-Phenyl-          l@eton-4-oxynaphtyl-5-sulfosäure    ab und rei  nigt sie durch     L        mkristallisieren    ihres Na  triumsalzes.



  Process for the preparation of an arylogynaphthyl ketone.   <I> Example: </I> <B> 19.5 </B> parts of benzotrichloride and 22.4 parts of 1-oxynaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid are added to 100 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid at room temperature and added for this period.
