Abstract

L'invention concerne : une tôle d'acier destinée à faire office de couvercle, présentant une résistance et une aptitude au moulage suffisantes et appropriée pour un moulage en couvercle, même à faible épaisseur; et son procédé de production. Ladite tôle d'acier destinée à faire office de couvercle est caractérisée par : une composition de composants contenant, en % en masse, de 0,002 à 0,010 % de C, limites comprises, 0,05 % ou moins de Si, de 0,05 à 0,30 % de Mn, limites comprises, 0,030 % ou moins de P, 0,020 % ou moins de S, moins de 0,0100 % de Al et 0,0050 % ou moins de N, la teneur en C étant supérieure à 0,003 % lorsque la teneur en Al est égale à au moins 0,005 %, Fe et les inévitables impuretés constituant le reste. Ladite tôle d'acier destinée à faire office de couvercle est également caractérisée en ce qu'elle présente une limite d'élasticité dans la direction de laminage supérieure ou égale à 500 MPa et une valeur de Lankford moyenne supérieure ou égale à 1,3.
