Abstract
Un ensemble de roulements de roue de véhicule avec des bagues de roulement relativement rotatives (11, 10) et des éléments roulants (12) entre celles-ci contient un dispositif de détection pour détecter la vitesse ou la position. Le dispositif de détection est composé de codeurs annulaires préformés (21, 23) avec des pôles magnétiques nord et sud alternés qui sont compensés à la fois radialement et axialement par rapport à l'axe rotatif défini par les bagues de roulement (10, 11). Les codeurs (21, 23) sont montés sur différents composants de l'ensemble, par exemple sur une cage (19) et une des bagues de roulement (10) qui est destinée à tourner. Les détecteurs (28, 29) dans un boîtier (25) fixé à la bague de roulement extérieure (11) sont destinés à rester immobiles, à détecter le mouvement des pôles des codeurs respectifs (21, 23) pour générer des signaux électriques qui peuvent être combinés ou traités séparément. Dans un mode de réalisation alternatif, seul un codeur installé sur la cage est utilisé, avec un détecteur sur une autre partie de l'ensemble.
