Abstract

Cette invention concerne une composition d'alliage métallique sans peau, exempte d'inclusions de gaz et comprenant des dendrites solides primaires dégradées et séparées, dispersées de façon homogène au sein d'une phase secondaire. On obtient cette composition métallique en chauffant l'alliage métallique dans un récipient jusqu'à sa liquéfaction (10). On fait ensuite refroidir rapidement le liquide tout en l'agitant (12) vigoureusement de manière à éviter les inclusions de gaz et à former des noyaux solides (14) répartis de manière homogène dans le liquide. L'agitation est arrêtée lorsque le liquide renferme une petite fraction solide ou que l'alliage liquide-solide est retiré de la zone d'agitation (12) cependant que l'on poursuit le refroidissement de lanière à obtenir les dendrites solides primaires dégradées séparées dans la phase secondaire liquide. Le mélange solide-liquide peut alors être formé, par exemple par coulage.
