Abstract

Dans un mode de réalisation de cette invention, deux sous-images destinées à la superposition sont créées par utilisation d'un seul modulateur spatial de lumière (SLM). Une première sous-image est projetée au moyen du SLM, à une première position, et, pendant la même trame, une seconde sous-image est projetée au moyen du même SLM, à une seconde position. Dans un autre mode de réalisation de cette invention, des images stéréoscopiques à haute résolution sont créées par utilisation du même principe de superposition temporelle et d'un système de projection électronique présentant un minimum de SLM à faible résolution. Cette invention permet de projeter alternativement à chaque oeil des sous-champs d'image décalés, qui sont ensuite combinés par le système de vision humain en une seule image à haute résolution intégrée. Le système de vision humain intègre de manière similaire les images séparées de oeil gauche et de oeil droit en une seule image à trois dimensions.
