Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de support de flammes pour un brûleur fonctionnant au gaz, dans lequel on réalise des fibres (10) métalliques disjointes dans un alliage comprenant du fer, du chrome et de l'aluminium, o n réunit entre elles sous pression ces fibres, on porte le mat de fibres à une température suffisante pour assurer une liaison intime entre les fibres. Sel on l'invention, on alimente avec ledit alliage métallique un réservoir (3) à débordement, pour réaliser les fibres par refroidissement au contact d'une roue en mouvement (7), puis on dispose dans une matrice de moulage les fibre s (10) disjointes obtenues et on les y comprime pour former le mat aggloméré, puis, on relie le mat à des électrodes et à un condensateur, et on porte ain si les fibres (10), à leurs points de contact, à une température supérieure ou égale à leur température de fusion, pour provoquer un soudage des fibres exclusivement entre elles, sous haute tension.
