Abstract

L'invention concerne un brûleur à alimentation par le haut et rendement régulé à un combustible solide tel que des copeaux ou du charbon. Le brûleur comprend une chambre de combustion (2) délimitée à la base par une grille (3), un conduit (14) raccordé à la chambre de combustion pour les fumées non brûlées ainsi qu'un moyen d'alimentation en air primaire et secondaire. La grille (3) peut pivoter dans un plan horizontal et se déplacer dans une direction verticale pour modifier le volume de la chambre de combustion (2). Un second orifice d'admission d'air (16) réglable et un volet de réglage (13) sont placés dans le passage (12) entre la chambre de combustion et le conduit du brûleur. Le volet de réglage (13) est doté d'un conduit d'air secondaire (15). Un ventilateur (21) réglable est conçu pour assurer l'alimentation en air comburant. Un procédé de fonctionnement consiste à abaisser le rendement par réduction de la vitesse du ventilateur (21) puis étranglement du passage (12) entre la chambre de combustion et le conduit, par réduction de l'alimentation en air secondaire, par réduction de la vitesse de rotation de la grille (3) et par fermeture d'un volet de réglage (23) destiné à l'apport d'air secondaire.
