Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé pour nettoyer et entretenir des systèmes de distribution d'eau potable qui ont un débit réduit à cause d'une augmentation des dépôts de tartre, des sédiments et similaires sur la surface intérieure de la conduite. A cet effet, une solution de nettoyage acide aqueuse (12) est introduite et mise en circulation dans la conduite (25) à traiter, pendant une période suffisante pour dissoudre et détacher le tartre et les sédiments, et la solution usée contenant le tartre et les sédiments dissous ou en suspension est évacuée par rinçage de la conduite (25), pour produire une conduite propre avec un meilleur écoulement de l'eau. Il est également souhaitable de rincer le système de conduite de distribution d'eau avec de l'eau sous haute pression après le traitement pour enlever le tartre et les sédiments détachés qu'il n'a pas été possible de faire partir pendant la mise en circulation et l'évacuation par rinçage de la solution traitante (12).
