Description

MÉMOIRE DESCRIPTIF
TITRE: Protège-Doigt DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION

DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
TITLE: Finger Guard FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of hockey sticks, more especially those used by goalkeepers.
PRIOR ART
Traditional hockey sticks designed for goalkeepers 'all have an enlarged part at the bottom. The guards must keep their stick there to get a good grip on their stick. The problem of the traditional stick is that the keeper always crashes the index finger when must lie on the ice.
OBJECTIVES AND BENEFITS
It is a general object of the invention to provide a hockey stick for goalkeepers who protected the keeper's index finger.
Another object of the invention to provide a hockey stick for goalkeepers which gives the goalkeeper a better grip and therefore a better stick control.
A more specific objective is to provide, in the widened part of a stick goalkeeper an opening that leaves palace at the index, allows him avoid contact with the glass and prevent it from coming out too easily.
DRAWINGS
Relative to the drawings which illustrate an embodiment of the invention FIG. 1 is a front view of a central part of the hockey stick for goalie.
FIG.2 is a view of ~ ôtë along ~, ~ line 2-2 of FIG.1.
1A1Q8902.DOC 1 .,. t FIG.3 is a section along line 3-3 of FIG.1.
FIG.4 is a section along line 4-4 of FIG.1.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the following description and in the accompanying drawings the similar figures refer to identical parts in the various figures. .
FIG. 1 shows part of a hockey stick 20 for goalkeeper.
'The stick 20 comprises a handle 22 and an enlarged part 24, connected by a shoulder 26. The shoulder 26 has a slope 28 to 45 ° and ends by a curve 30 towards the sides of the widened part 24. The curve 30 is ends in an advanced 32 completed by a rounded 34 which turns more than 90 °. To form a regression 36 which we perceive at approximately 12 °. This regression 36 supports an index 38, dotted. The downward side 36 ends, towards the center of the enlarged part 24, by a bottom 40.
indentation 42. An eligneous side 44. on the declining side 36 is disposed according to a slope of about 25 ° and is followed by a rounded corner 46 which seal a base 48. The side in regressin 36, supports a bearing surface 50 (FIG.4) FIG. 2 shows us a front view of the base 48 of the stick 20,. We can see the heat sequence 22, 1 ', shoulder 24, advanced 32, indentation 42 and base 48 of the enlarged part 24.
FIG. 3 shows us a section of the stick 20 at the level of the handle 22.
FIG. 4 is a section of the enlarged part 24, at the level of the notch 40. We mark a finger 52 supported on the bearing surface 50, also sloping.
,.
, SUMMARY AND BRANCHES
1A1Q8902.DOC 2 ;at r A goalkeeper hockey stick comprising in combination a handle 22 and an enlarged part 24, a shoulder 26 serving as a link between the handle 22 and the enlarged part 24. The enlarged part 24 has a base and a notch 42 hollowed out in the base 48 of the widened part 24. The notch S is located at the meeting point between the base 48 and the shoulder 26 and creates an opening in 1 ~ base to accommodate a goalkeeper's finger.
The notch includes a distant side 44, forming an obtuse angle with the base 48, a declining side 36 forming an acute angle with base 48 and a bottom 40 connecting the distant side and the declining side. The side in regression defines a slope which regresses to form an advanced 32 at its junction with the shoulder 26. The projection 32 creates a bearing surface 50 to remove the goalkeeper's finger 52. The obtuse angle is between 115 ° and 125 °. The acute angle is between 70 ° and 84 °.
The bearing surface 50 forms a sloping arc of about 20 ° at 40 ° for the comfort of a finger joint.
The overhang has a rounded end 34, corresponding to the acute angle.
It is understood that the embodiment of the present invention which has been described above, with reference to the accompanying drawing, has been given as indicative and in no way limitative, and that modifications and adaptations can be made without the object departing from the scope of the present invention.
