Abstract

A hockey stick for goalkeepers. The stick includes a handle and a pallet connected by a shoulder. One side of the pallet includes a recess, at the level of the shoulder, to accommodate the goalkeeper's finger. The top of the recess has a hook at the rounded end at its junction with the shoulder to hold the finger.

DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
TITLE: Finger Guard FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of hockey sticks, more especially those used by goalkeepers.
PRIOR ART
Traditional hockey sticks designed for goalkeepers 'all have an enlarged part at the bottom. The guards must keep their stick there to get a good grip on their stick. The problem of the traditional stick is that the keeper always crashes the index finger when must lie on the ice.
OBJECTIVES AND BENEFITS
It is a general object of the invention to provide a hockey stick for goalkeepers who protected the keeper's index finger.
Another object of the invention to provide a hockey stick for goalkeepers which gives the goalkeeper a better grip and therefore a better stick control.
A more specific objective is to provide, in the widened part of a stick goalkeeper an opening that leaves palace at the index, allows him avoid contact with the glass and prevent it from coming out too easily.

In the following description and in the accompanying drawings the similar figures refer to identical parts in the various figures. .
FIG. 1 shows part of a hockey stick 20 for goalkeeper.
'The stick 20 comprises a handle 22 and an enlarged part 24, connected by a shoulder 26. The shoulder 26 has a slope 28 to 45 ° and ends by a curve 30 towards the sides of the widened part 24. The enlarged part 24 has a base and a notch 42 hollowed out in the base 48 of the widened part 24. Claims (6)

1. A hockey stick for goalkeeper comprising in combination:
a handle (22) and an enlarged part (24), a shoulder (26) serving to link between said handle (22) and said enlarged part (24), said part enlarged (24) having a base and a notch (42) hollowed out in said base (48) of said enlarged part (24), said notch being located at the point of meet between said base (48) and said shoulder (26) and creating an opening in said base intended to accommodate a finger of said goalkeeper, 2. The hockey stick of claim 1 wherein said notch includes:
- a distant side (44), forming an obtuse angle with said base (48), - a side in regression (36) forming an acute angle with said base (48), - a bottom (40) connecting said distant side and said declining side, said side in regression defining a slope which regresses to form a advanced (32) at its junction with said shoulder (26), said advanced (32) creating a bearing surface (50) intended to retain the finger (52) of said guardian of goal. 3. The hockey stick of claim 2 wherein said obtuse angle is between 115 ° and 125 °. 4. The hockey stick of claim 2 wherein said acute angle is between 70 °
