Abstract

Machine à papier destinée à la fabrication d'un papier crêpé tendre qui, sur le plan de la douceur et du bouffant, peut tout à fait se comparer à celui qui est fabriqué dans une machine à papier comportant un système de séchage à l'air chaud; le principe en est celui d'une machine à papier crêpé tendre traditionnelle, dans laquelle une étoffe d'impression et de transport (25) remplace le feutre leveur. Un dispositif leveur (23) fonctionnant par flux d'air, retire la bande (15) de l'étoffe de façonnage (9) et la transmet à l'étoffe d'impression (25) sans la comprimer excessivement. Des dispositifs de nettoyage (41, 43, 45) ainsi qu'un dispositif (47) servant à drainer l'eau de la structure d'impression (25) avant qu'elle n'atteigne le dispositif leveur (23), maintiennent celle-ci en condition propre et sèche. De plus, des dispositifs générant un courant d'air (35, 37, 39) sont conçus pour enlever l'eau du rouleau de papier (15) en faisant circuler de l'air à température ambiante au travers de celui-ci. Ces dispositifs possèdent une capacité suffisante pour élever la teneur du rouleau en solides secs à au moins 25 % avant que celui-ci n'atteigne le sécheur frictionneur (29). Si on le souhaite, on peut transformer la machine à papier en machine traditionnelle de fabrication de papier crêpé, facilement et rapidement, en remplaçant l'étoffe d'impression (25) par un feutre leveur.
