Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de décokage d'une installation de vapocraquage d'hydrocarbures, consistant à éliminer par érosion une partie au moins du coke déposé sur les parois internes de l'installation, en particulier, dans un four de vapocraquage et une chaudière de trempe indirecte, au moyen de particules solides véhiculées par un courant de gaz vecteur à vitesse élevée. L'invention est caractérisé
en ce que le décokage est réalisé pendant que l'installation est en opération de craquage des hydrocarbures, le gaz vecteur étant constitué au moins en partie par la charge d'hydrocarbures et de vapeur d'eau qui contient des particules solides ayant un diamètre moyen inférieur à 150 µm, avec un taux solides-gaz inférieur à 10 % en poids et une vitesse de particules dans le four de 70 à 480 m/s, de sorte que le mélange gaz vecteur-particules solides se comporte comme un gaz doté d'une capacité
d'érosion légère.
