Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the transformer as shown in the drawings; the transformer is symmetrical in front and rear views and presents a lower section, an intermediate section, and an upper section; the lower section of the transformer presents a forwardly projecting housing-like portion with flat side surfaces, a flat top surface which extends downwards and forwards, and curved corner areas between the side and top surfaces; the housing-like portion merges rearwards into the curved side surfaces of the lower section of the transformer; the lower section of the transformer merges into the lower portion of the intermediate section of the transformer; the intermediate section presents a central area the lower portion of which generally follows the shape of the lower section of the transformer and then widens outwards in a cup-like manner from bottom to top in front and rear views; the intermediate section presents a series of spaced-apart outwardly projecting annular elements along the height of the central area of the intermediate section; each annular element presents tapered upper and lower surfaces and rounded ends; the upper section of the transformer presents an inverted generally U-shaped elongated element having side flange-like portions with curved outer edges in plan view; the inverted generally U-shaped elongated element presents an upwardly curved top surface in front view.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view from above of the design of the transformer;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a rear elevation view thereof;Fig. 4 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 6 is a top plan view thereof; andFig. 7 is a bottom view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the present design.Diagrams of the design are included.
