Au dessin annexé o La figure 1 est un schéma des tronçons de bande proilée et découpée destiné à illustrer le procédé de l'invention ;
La figure 2 représente l'assemblage de demi-troncons de bande pour former une cheville ;
The invention relates to inking in the ground, more particularly, but not exclusively, posts or fence posts.
In the first addition to French patent no. 79 09679 filed on April 10, 1979 by the Applicant for: Ankle intended for the fixing in the ground of posts or stakes and devices used to drive in this ankle ", we have describes a dowel consisting of two portions of pla ~ ues lO profiled metal, preferably zig-zag, forming each a shaped fin to facilitate its penetration vertical in the ground and offer, once pressed, a transverse resistance, said fin having an edge folded back to form an open prismatic sheath along an edge, these two sleeves being fitted one in the other to form a central prismatic sheath prevailing over the entire height of the ankle.
Such an anchor provides effective anchoring of a pole 20 which is simply inserted into the sheath, without having need to be sealed. It is easy to install and sufficient rigid, even when made of thin sheet metal.
The present invention relates to a manufacturing process of ankles of the above kind, capable of reducing operations machining and scrap metal, to authorize a manufacturing tion continuously from a tape and allow obtaining various shapes adapted to all needs.
Where 3 ~
The process according to the invention is mainly characterized laughed at in that the aforementioned sheath is obtained by profiling of the two edges of a strip intended for the formation of ankles, while each of the fins is obtained by cutting, on the one hand perpendicular to the sheath generators to form strip sections profile each having a length corresponding to the ankle height and on the other hand, for each section, along a diagonal plane.
This diagonal cutout of each section provides two fins, possibly bent or centered during the profiling operation of the edges and whose sleeves, advantageously having as an opening as a slot intended to allow the interlocking of the two sleeves two fins which will preferably be assembled between them by sliding one into the other of their respective sleeves, will be cut in a bevel one end and, without additional machining, shaped as 20 a tip suitable for penetration, falling metal corresponding being very small and falling by itself when of the diagonal cutout.
Other particularities, as well as the advantages of the invention tion will become apparent in light of the description detailed below.
~% ~ 37 ~ 1 ~
In the accompanying drawing o Figure 1 is a diagram of the strip sections profiled and cut out intended to illustrate the process of the invention;
Figure 2 shows the assembly of half-sections tape to form a dowel;
Figure 3 is a side view of a sheath of anchor obtained by interlocking the two sleeves of the respective half-sections; and Figures ~ and 5 show in end view two different assemblies of the same half sections at asymmetrical folding.
The method of the invention, in a first embodiment, consists in establishing, from a strip of great length 20 for example in sheet metal, a continuous profile, by means of a press, by folding the edges of the strip to form sleeves 1 and 2 and, optionally, by folding or bending of the intermediate strip portion 3, and to proceed, also continuously, when cutting said profile into sections AlBl, A2B2, and by means of successive cuts siv perpendicular to the generatrices of the sleeves and diagonals, i.e. going from a section angle such that AlBl at the opposite corner of this section.
~ 371 ~ 37 All the half-sections ~ ons Al, Bl etc. are rigorously identical in the embodiment of Figure 1 where the portion of intermediate strip 3 remained flat and where the sleeves 1 and 2 are perfectly symmetrical. It would be likewise if the strip portion 3 had undergone symmetrical folding stick. The sleeves have an open prismatic surface along an edge, this opening presenting itself as a simple slot 11, 21. It will be noted that, under these conditions, the diagonal cutout leads, for each half-section, 10 small metal drop such as 1 ~ or 20 falling besides of itself. No resumption of machining is therefore necessary to eliminate these falls, thanks to which obtains an angle of attack on a fold, which increases the riqidity of the spout and allows better penetration of the peg in the ground.
It goes without saying that instead of practicing the cuts on a continuous tape, we could use a fixed cutting gear, or arrange in any other way 20 order of operations, on condition, however, of operating on multiple lengths of profiled strip at a time, each length corresponding to the height of an ankle, as will see it below.
Indeed, although it is possible to use as ankle each of the profiled half-sections Al, Bl, etc., we prefer will form each ankle, assemble two half sections by presenting, as shown in Figure 2, the ~ 2 ~ 37 ~ 7 half section ~ on Al behind the half section Bl, the latter having kept the portion illustrated in Figure l, while that Al has been returned so that the tip 22 of its scabbard comes to engage in the scabbard slot Bl, at the straight cut end of this last sheath: we see ~ So two of the sides of the sleeve Al engage in laughing of the sheath Bl, while the third face of the furnace-reau de Al, which is extended by the fin, remains external the sheath of Bl. This provision appears at the FIG. 3, where the faces of Al have been designated by All, A12, 13 e Bl by Bll 'Bl2 ~ B ~ 3- It is clear that if the dimensions of the two straight sections of the two sleeves are strictly identical, there will be an interval a between the faces Bll and Al3. It could be advantageous, to get a better fit, remove this interval by reducing the cross section of one of the sheaths (here that of Al) compared to the other (Bl).
The position is shown in dotted lines in FIG. 2.
20 final of Al in the ankle finished. The two points oblique sleeves of Al and Bl obviously facilitate penetration of the ankle into the ground. No welding is not necessary for the realization of the ankle. Sheath central obtained by interlocking the two sleeves a a double thickness of metal on its three faces, which improves stiffness. In addition, a wide variety of forms can be obtained as required.
~ 2 ~ L3 ~ E17 In Figures 1 to 3, ankles have been illustrated, the sheath of which central has as a cross section an equilateral triangle: it it should be noted that this embodiment, particularly advantageous, is very difficult to achieve with known methods.
Depending on the needs, we can obviously carry out, at by means of the process described, sheaths of square section, rectangular, or having another appropriate polygonal section prayed.
10 Instead of being platel as shown in Figure 1 or in symmetrical folding as shown in Figure 2, the portion of intermediate tape connecting the two sleeves could have a strongly asymmetrical profile, as illustrated in Figures 4 and 5. In this case, depending on how engage the two half-sections Al and Bl into each other, we obtains an almost flat ankle profile, as illustrated in Figure 4, or a dowel profile where the two fins form an acute angle between them, as illustrated by the Figure 5, which can be advantageous in certain areas;
20 stations.
The profiled strip could, instead of being metallic, be made of plastic, certain techniques known forming include for example both the exercise of a traction and a push on the profile in forming course, making profiled edges semi-closed on such a strip.
