Mémoire descrlptlf La présente in~entlon se rapporte a un outil électrlque pour ramoner les cheminées.
Il e~t d'usage courant dans le cas du ramonage des cheminées d'employer une brosse métalllque a laquelle on fi2e une corde ou une tige ri~lde que l'on promene manuel lement de haut en bas dans la cheminée. Il est évidemment néaessaire de faire vanir un ramoneur pour ce falre ou bien de monter sur le tolt pour ramoner soi-meme sa cheminée.
L~utilisation de cette brosse nlest pas tr~s appréciée à
cause des problemes tels que les accldents, la saleté, le froid que son utllisatlon manuelle entraine~
J'ai découvert que ces inconvénients peuvent être sup-primés par l'installation d'un chapeau de cheminée a l'ln-térleur duquel est monté un petlt treuil éleotrlque télé-commandé. Un ramoneur électrique de ce type permet le net-toyage de la cheminée en tout temps, en toute sécurlté et sans e~fort puisque tout se fait automatiquement par simple pression du doigt sur un bouton-poussoir.

LB chapeau de cheminés comporte deux compartiments ~upsrpo~s: un compartiment supérieur forln~ d'une capote 1 et d'une base 2 et à l'int~rieur duquel est monté l'en~embla moteur 12, d~multiplicateur et tambDur 14, et un compart~m6nt inf~rieur form~ par un cunduit 3 agnncé de façon à logar une brosse m~tallique 19 qous la base 2. Les dsux compartiments servsnt d'abri contre les intempéries pour le treuil at pour la brosse 19 lorsque celle-ci est en position de repos. La capote 1 du chapeau de cheminae et la base amovible 2 sont ~ssemol~e~avec des vis ou écrous pour facili-tar l'accès au~petit trauil alectrique. La base amovible 2 du ohapeau possede un trou qn ~on cantre pour le passage du câble 15 s'enroulant sur la tambour 14 et dont le bout librs est attach~ à la brosse métallique 19. La tsrme "câbl0" inclut une chaîne.

Les boutons-poussolrs sont a impulsion pour obliger l'opéra teur à demeurer sur place lors du ramonage.
De fa~on a ce que le moteur 12 s'arrete automatiquement lorsque la brosse atteint le bas de la cheminée et aussi lorsqu'elle est remontée sous la base 2 du chapeau, un ren-flement rnétallique 8 eæt fixé sur le c~ble 15 pres de la brosæe de meme qu'un autre renflement 8 est fixé sur une lon~ueur de cable équivalente à la hauteur de la chemlnée.
Ces deux renflements 8 sont montés sur le câble et de part et d~autre d'un braæ d'interrupteur de fin de course 18 lo-calisé prèæ de l'ouverture de la base 2 du chapeau et a l'intérieur de celui-cl. L'ouverture en forme de U du bras ~75~' de l'interrupteur de fin de course 18 est suffisamment gran-de pour laisser circuler le câble 15 mais non les renflements 8 qui eux sont plus gros que l'ouverture en U du bras de l'interrupteur. Sl le bras de l'lnterrupteur de fin de CQUrse 18 est actlonné dans un sens, il conser~e sa positlon tant qu'il n'est pas poussé dans la direction opposée qu'il oonservera aussl.

La brosse métallique composée d'une armature 20 et de filaments 19 peut etre en forme de disque, sphère, carrée ou rectangulaire~ dépendammen-t de la cheminée à ramoner mais icl d'est un disque suffisamment lourd pour descendre facl-lement dans la cheminée tout en nettoyant celle-ol aussi bien qu'en remontée~ La brosse peut aussi être fabriquée de fa~on a ce que les fllaments 19 soient fixés sur l'ar-mature 20 en ayant une légère incllnaison vers le haut, ce gui faciliterait la descente dans Ia cheminée tout en net-toyant mieux en remontée~ De plus elle est démontable du câble pour remplacement éventuel.
