Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a board for an electronic handwriting system having a generally symmetrical thin base section having a generally flat front surface and a generally flat bottom surface which is parallel to the front surface; the base section has a straight right side edge, a smooth outwardly curved left side edge, and a pair of generally parallel edges extending between the right side edge and the left side edge; the generally parallel edges of the base section between the left side and right side edges extend at right angles to the right side edge and merge through smooth curved corners into the outwardly curved left side edge and through small rounded corners into the right ride edge;the front surface of the base section has two spaced-apart generally identical first raised areas situated at the left side corners thereof, the first raised areas having flat front surfaces and outer beveled surfaces; the first raised areas merge into generally identical narrow second raised areas having flat front surfaces, the narrow second raised areas extend towards each other along the left side edge of the base section and terminate in tapered end portions which form a gap between the ends theeof; a pair of third generally identical raised areas having flat front surfaces are situated adjacent the first and second raised areas and are shallower than the first and second raised areas; the right side edges of the third raised areas merge into the right side edges of the first raised areas; each third raised area has a rounded inner corner between the right side edge thereof and an adjacent edge which extends generally at right angles to the right side edge and merges into the adjacent second raised area;the front surface of the base section has generally identical narrow fourth raised areas which extend around the right side corners of the base section and then part way along the parallel edges toward the left side edge, the fourth raised areas having peaked upper surfaces; the fourth raised areas merge through short transition areas into smooth curved fifth raised areas which extend along the remainder of the parallel edges to the right edges of the first raised areas.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the design of a board for an electronic handwriting system;Fig. 2 is a front view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side view thereof;Fig. 5 is a left side view thereof;Fig. 6 is a plan view thereof;Fig. 7 is a rear view thereof;Fig. 8 is a sectional view taken along line A-A in Figure 2;Fig. 9 is a sectional view taken along line B-B in Figure 2;Fig. 10 is a sectional view taken along line C-C in Figure 2; andFig. 11 is a sectional view taken along line D-D in Figure 2.Diagrams of the design are included.
