Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a slightly wedge-shaped analyte-determining meter having a top surface, a bottom surface, and side surfaces extending between the top and bottom surfaces; the meter has a generally shield-like configuration in plan view with curved corner areas; a groove which generally follows the shield-like configuration of the meter extends around most of the top surface and separates the top surface from the side surfaces; the right side surface has a central circular opening therein;the top surface has a central, slightly recessed, viewing area with outwardly curved upper and lower edges and side edges which curve slightly inwards from the upper edge to the lower edge; the top surface has symmetrical grooves which extend inwards from the shield-like groove beneath the viewing area and then bend downwards and curve gradually outwards and around a recessed area in the narrow end side surface of the meter before curving inwards to a straight groove section which joins the symmetrical grooves beneath the recessed area; the recessed area has a flat bottom surface and flat side surfaces which are angled inwards and are situated generally at right angles to the bottom surface; therecessed area also has a slightly convex inside surface;the left top surface has a short groove portion which extends between the shield-like groove and the adjacent portion of the left side symmetrical groove; a further groove extends across the wide end side surface of the meter, around the curved corner areas, and then gradually downwards along the side surfaces before bending through rounded corners to a straight groove section that extends across the bottom surface of the meter.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a top perspective view of an analyte-determining meter;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a first side view thereof;Fig. 4 is a bottom plan view thereof;Fig. 5 is a second opposing side view thereof;Fig. 6 is a first end view thereof;Fig. 7 is a second opposing end view thereofDiagrams of the design are included.
