Abstract
PROCESSO PARA HIDROGENAR OLEFINAS. É divulgado um processo para hidrogenar olefinas. As olefinas estão presentes em um gás de alimentação que inclui H2 e um ou mais compostos de enxofre. Os compostos de enxofre poderão incluir H2S e compostos de enxofre orgânicos. O gás de alimentação é passado através de um reator a uma temperatura de entrada de 100°C a 250°C. O reator contém um catalisador que é ativo à temperatura de entrada. O reator poderá ser adiabático. Hidrocarbonetos saturados são formados a partir das olefinas. Um gradiente de temperatura poderá ser formado no reator devido à natureza exotérmica da reação de hidrogenação, ocasionando que a temperatura aumente a jusante do reator. Em temperaturas mais altas que a temperatura de entrada, H2S poderá ser formado a partir dos compostos de enxofre orgânicos. Uma mistura de gases incluindo hidrocarbonetos saturados, H2S e H2 sai do reator e poderá ser posto em contato com um adsorvente químico que remova o H2S. A corrente de gás é então passada para um reformador de metano a vapor.
