Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE MIRTAZAPINA. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para produção de mirtazapina como um processo conveniente para obter mirtazapina a partir de uma mistura da reação obtida por ciclização de 2-(4-metil-2- fenilpiperazin-1-il)piridina-3-metanol com ácido sulfúrico concentrado, em elevada pureza e em uma forma adequada para uso seguro como um fármaco. O processo de produção para mirtazapina é caracterizado pelo fato de que uma mistura da reação obtida por ciclização de 2-(4-metil-2- fenilpiperazin-1-iI)piridina-3-metanol com ácido sulfúrico concentrado é diluída com água, a diluição é alcalinizada na presença de propanol, a mirtazapina é extraida com propanol e a mirtazapina é cristalizada a partir do extrato.
