composição agroquímica granular, e, processo para preparar a mesma. uma composição agroquímica granular é descrita incluindo um material núcleo granular possuindo uma porção solúvel em água com uma primeira camada de revestimento aplicada sobre a superfície do material núcleo e uma segunda camada de revestimento aplicada sobre a superfície da primeira camada de revestimento. a primeira camada de revestimento inclui uma composição de cera possuindo um ingrediente biologicamente ativo na mesma e uma segunda camada de revestimento inclui uma composição polimérica. a composição agroquímica granular exibe uma taxa de liberação controlada do ingrediente biologicamente ativo da mesma durante um período maior do que cerca de 30 dias a partir da data de exposição inicial da composição granular à umidade por meio da qual essencialmente todo o ingrediente biologicamente ativo incorporado no material de cera da primeira camada de revestimento é liberado da composição granular antes de a porção solúvel em água do material núcleo granular ser liberada da composição granular.
