Abstract

SENSOR DE DESGASTE DE LONA DO FREIO ENTRE BLOCOS DE LONA. A presente invenção refere-se a um sensor de desgaste da lona do freio inclui um corpo termoplástico que é preso em uma placa de suporte entre blocos de lona do freio adjacentes. A placa de suporte inclui uma abertura formada dentro de um vão entre blocos de lona adjacentes. O corpo termoplástico é recebido dentro da abertura e inclui um furo central que se estende de uma primeira extremidade de como para uma segunda extremidade de corpo. Um arame sensor é recebido dentro do furo e inclui uma porção única laçada que se estende para fora de uma face de extremidade da segunda extremidade do corpo. A porção única laçada é posicionada em um limite de desgaste de lona máximo pré-definido. Quando a porção única laçada é rompida devido ao contato com um componente de freio rotativo, um sinal de aviso é comunicado para um operador para indicar que o limite de desgaste da lona máximo pré-definido foi alcançado.
