Abstract

"MáQUINA E MéTODO DE EMPACOTAMENTO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho de empacotamento nos quais cada produto é empacotado pelo envolvimento do produto em material de empacotamento flexível. Um microprocessador programado calcula o comprimento do material de empacotamento flexível necessário para empacotar o produto com base nas dimensões físicas do produto, calcula o peso do material de empacotamento flexível necessário, e calcula o peso total do pacote como a soma do peso do produto e o peso calculado do material de empacotamento flexível. Uma impressora imprime a informação específica do produto que está sendo empacotado em um rótulo que é então afixado ao material de empacotamento flexível antes de o produto ser empacotado. A informação pode ser uma função do peso do pacote, e o peso total calculado do pacote pode ser comunicado a partir do microprocessador para a impressora. Finalmente, o produto é empacotado no material de empacotamento flexível possuindo o rótulo já afixado ao mesmo.
