PNEU ESTRUTURALMENTE SUPORTADO, E, MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR O PERFIL TRANSVERSAL DE UM RAIO DE ALMA Um pneu estruturalmente suportado inclui uma banda anular externa, e uma pluralidade de raios de alma estendendo-se transversalmente através e radialmente para dentro desde a banda anular e ancorados em uma rada ou cubo. A banda anular pode também compreender uma camada de cisalhamento, pelo menos uma primeira membrana aderida à extensão radialmente interna de cisalhamento, e pelo menos uma segunda membrana aderida à extensão radialmente para fora da camada de cisalhamento.Um preferido raio de alma tem um seção recortada transversal à banda anular. A seção recortada tem um perfil formado por segmentos de linha reta,unidos por um raio de curvatura. O perfil do recorte compreende uma altura HC e uma profundidade máxima D maior do que cinco por centoda altura N e menos do que trinta por cento da largura máxima W. O perfil tem um ânguko alfa formado por uma linha tangente ao perfil em relação à horizontal pelo menos igual a dez graus na extensão radialmente mais externa e radialmente mais interna do dito perfeil. O raio de curvatura mínimo RR do perfil é pelo menos igual a vente por cento da altura HC da seção recortada.
