Abstract

MÉTODO E APARELHO APERFEIÇOADO PARA LUBRIFICAR MOLDES DE FORMAÇçO DE VIDRO FUNDIDO. A presente invenção refere-se a um queimador de mistura de superfície (16) posicionado em alinhamento com um molde de uma máquina de formação de recipientes de vidro do tipo l.S. para produzir um suprimento de fuligem para lubrificar uma superfície interna do molde, a fuligem sendo produzida pela combustão de um suprimento de combustível rico de um carburante e um oxidante. O suprimento de combustível e oxidante é intermitentemente inflamado por um dispositivo de centelhamento (54) que está posicionado dentro de um cabeçote de fuligem (10), e uma bobina de ignição (56) posicionada dentro do cabeçote de fuligem para fornecer um pulso de alta voltagem para o dispositivo de centelhamento pelo método de descarga indutiva. A bobina de ignição está posicionada suficientemente próxima do dispositivo de centelhamento, e de preferência em contato direto com este, para evitar uma interferência com a operação apropriada de um sistema de controle eletrônico para a máquina IS. Uma fonte de alimentação (62) remotamente posicionada está provida para energizar a bobina de ignição, a fonte de alimentação provendo energia para a bobina de ignição em uma voltagem relativamente baixa, por exemplo, (12 - 24) volts CC.
