Abstract

dispositivo para a eletro-inibição dos músculos faciais, método para causar a inibição elétrica dos músculos faciais e método para o tratamento terapêutico de cefaléia devido a tensão. a invenção refere-se a um método para realização da inibição elétrica dos músculos faciais com propósitos puramente estéticos, usando um dispositivo compreendendo um suporte na cabeça do usuário (1), dois eletrodos de contato (2), um circuito eletrônico (3) para a geração de impulsos elétricos de baixa voltagem nos mencionados eletrodos, um suprimento de eletricidade em corrente direta (4), e meios para dispor e reter (7) os mencionados elementos na cabeça. a invenção é caracterizada pelas seguintes etapas: posicionamento dos eletrodos (2) em cada lado da parte superior do nariz, na glabela; passagem dos impulsos elétricos pelos eletrodos (2) através do músculo prócere do nariz de forma a causar que esse músculo prócere do nariz relaxe e, conseqúentemente, seus músculos antagônicos: o músculo frontal e o músculo duplo dos supercílios.
