Abstract
permutador de calor para uso no resfriamento de líquidos um permutador de calor tem pelo menos uma entrada e saída para permitir circulação de refrigerante através do mesmo. cada permutador de calor inclui uma pluralidade de seções finas de material disposto entre um par de chapas externas, planas e finas. cada uma das seções finas de material é compreendida de trajetórias de fluxo paralelas, permitindo que o refrigerante flua através da entrada, a seguir de uma seção para a seguinte, e finalmente para fora da saída. o arranjo das seções de trajetórias de fluxo paralelas permite que o refrigerante entre em contato com a maior parte da parede interna das chapas externas, permitindo máxima permuta de calor. em uso para resfriar líquidos, os permutadores de calor são dispostos em uma armação e colocados em contato com o líquido a ser resfriado. quando os permutadores de calor são utilizados para resfriar líquido suficientemente para produzir cristais de gelo, um dispositivo de raspar giratório varre através da superfície do permutador de calor, removendo quaisquer cristais de gelo que se formaram.
