Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE RETENçãO DE UM INSTRUMENTO DENTáRIO. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de retenção de um instrumento dentário na cabeça de um contra-ângulo, instrumento do tipo que compreende em sua parte superior que entra na cabeça do contra-ângulo uma superfície plana lateral para seu acionamento em rotação, e uma canelura anular para sua retenção axial, caracterizado pelo fato de que o fuste que recebe o cabo do instrumento, compreende uma fresagem transversal (7d), deseixada em relação ao eixo longitudinal (7e) do fuste, praticada na extremidade do fuste e que desemboca na perfuração (7b), a largura (I) da fresagem sendo tal que ela permite a introdução do cabo do instrumento de modo que por um lado a superfície plana lateral do cabo esteja em contato com a parede (7f) da fresagem, a mais próxima do eixo longitudinal (7c) a fim de realizar o acoplamento em rotação, e que por outro lado o ressalto da superfície plana do cabo venha em batente no fundo (7c) da perfuração longitudinal (7b) do fuste, a fim de realizar a função do batente axial no sentido da introdução. Preferencialmente, o dispositivo se apresenta sob a forma de um cartucho que compreende já unidos um fuste (7), um cossinete de fuste (10), um anel elástico (8), um botão de pressão (13) com uma mola (12), e eventualmente um rolamento de esferas (11).
