Abstract
CATALISADORES DE ZEóLITO DE TITáNIO. A presente invenção refere-se a catalisadores úteis para epoxidação de olefinas. Os catalisadores compreendem um polímero de vinilpiridina e um zeólito de titânio. De preferência, o polímero de vinilpiridina em capsula o zeólito de titânio. Os catalisadores são fáceis de preparar e usar, eles são fáceis de recuperar e reutilizar e eles convertem olefinas em epóxidos em bons rendimentos com alta seletividade. Surpreendentemente, reações de abertura de anel que formam subprodutos de glicol e éter de glicol são minimizadas através do uso de catalisadores contendo polímero de vinilpiridina. Os catalisadores são valiosos para a fabricação de óxido de propileno a partir de propileno e peróxido de hidrogênio. A invenção refere-se também a metais de transição encapsulados com polímero de vinilpiridina e seu uso para produzir peróxido de hidrogênio a partir de hidrogênio e oxigênio.
