Abstract
PROCESSO, E PLANTA, PARA REALIZAR SìNTESE FISCHER-TROPSCH EM UM GáS DE ALIMENTAçãO A síntese Fischer-Tropsch é realizada em um gás de alimentação CO/H*2 usando uma pluralidade de módulos compactos (12) de reator catalítico cada definindo canais de reação catalítica e canais de líquido refrigerante, em dois estágios sucessivos, com o mesmo número de módulos de reator para cada estágio. A velocidade de fluxo do gás no primeiro estágio é suficientemente elevada, de modo que não mais que 75% do CO sofrem conversão. Os gases são resfriados (16) entre estágios sucessivos de modo a remover vapor d'água, e a pressão é reduzida (20) antes dos mesmos serem submetidos ao segundo estágio. Além disso, a temperatura de reação para o segundo estágio é menor do que para o primeiro estágio, de modo que não mais que 75% do monóxido de carbono restante também sofrem conversão durante o segundo estágio. O efeito deletério de vapor d'água sobre o catalisador é, assim, suprimido, enquanto a capacidade global da planta (10) pode ser ajustada por fechamento de módulos em cada estágio, enquanto mantendo iguais os números.
