Abstract

"BOMBA RADIAL". Uma bomba radial (10) tem um alojamento (12) com um anel de cilindro (30) articuladamente montado nele. O anel de cilindro tem uma abertura circular dentro da qual uma superfície de came (42) é formada. Um bloco de cilindros (44) gira dentro da abertura de anel de cilindro e tem uma pluralidade de cilindros estendendo-se radialmente (46) cada um tendo orifício que seletivamente se comunica com uma entrada de fluido e uma saída de fluido à medida que o bloco de cilindros (44) gira. Uma pluralidade de pistões (48) é deslizavelmente recebida dentro da pluralidade de cilindros (46) e contata a superfície de came (42). Um atuador (33) operacionalmente acoplado para produzir movimento do anel de cilindro (30), o qual altera o relacionamento espacial entre o anel de cilindro e o bloco de cilindros (44) para variar a quantidade que os pistões (48) se movem dentro dos cilindros (46) .
