Abstract

"BOMBA GIRATóRIA". Uma bomba giratória 10, e.g., uma bomba centrifuga de lama, possui uma carcaça principal 12 que aloja um impulsor 18 giratório em uma cavidade de impulsor 16 definida entre revestimentos de extremidade 25,28 e uma porção periférica de carcaça principal 24. O revestimento de extremidade 28, em uma extremidade de sucção do impulsor, está levemente vedado através de uma vedação anular 32 contra a porção de carcaça principal 24. Uma porção tubular 36 radialmente interna que se estende axialmente para fora integral com o revestimento de extremidade 28 está alinhada com uma porção de admissão tubular estacionária 40. As bases 38,44 respectivamente sobre as porções tubulares 36,40 opostas uma a outra sobre uma cavidade em ponte que acomoda uma ponte anular 50 é expansível para permitir que o revestimento de extremidade 28 seja ajustado axialmente para fechar qualquer brecha com o impulsor 18 causada pelo desgaste.
