Abstract

"AMORTECEDOR PROPORCIONAL DE PRESSãO DE AR". Um sistema de suspensão inclui uma mola de ar e um absorvedor de choque disposto entre as porções com mola e sem mola de um veículo. Um sensor de altura de veículo envia sinais para um sistema de controle, o qual ajusta a altura do veículo pelo aumento ou pela diminuição da pressão de ar na mola. Esta mesma pressão de ar é provida para o absorvedor de choque, de modo a se aumentar a taxa de amortecimento para cargas altas e diminuir a taxa de armazenamento para cargas baixas. A pressão de ar para o absorvedor de choque é provida para um conjunto de válvula o qual controla o escoamento de fluido entre a câmara de trabalho do absorvedor de choque e uma câmara de reserva.
