Abstract
"AMORTECEDOR COM RESTRIçãO LATERAL E CONTROLE AXIAL" Um amortecedor se constitui de uma luva de amortecimento flexível, um retentor e um pistom principal. A luva de amortecimento é segura em uma extremidade pelo retentor e na extremidade oposta pelo pistom princiopal. O pistom de restrição se estende a partir do retentor e para o interior do pistom principal. O pistom de restrição atua como um estabilizador lateral, uma restrição sobre extensão e controle de altura. A região oca no pistom de restrição se comunica através de pelo menos uma passagem com uma câmara de ar, formada entre a luva de amortecimento e as superfícies externas do pistom de restrição e do pistom principal. Um fluido é admitido ou exaurido a partir do amortecedor em mola, através de uma válvula, que funciona em relação ao deslocamento do pistom de restrição e do pistom principal.
