Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE RESFRIAMENTO E MéTODO DE TêMPERA". A presente invenção se relaciona a um dispositivo de resfriamento para operação de têmpera de um produto plano na forma de tira metálica (2), preferivelmente uma tira metálica, o citado dispositivo: sendo localizado em trajetória essencialmente vertical, ascendente e descendente; compreendendo um tanque de transbordamento 4, no qual uma série de tubos 1 é completamente imersa e empilhada mais ou menos verticalmente e simetricamente ao longo de cada lado da tira (2) e cada um deles ejetando sobre a tira um fluido refrigerante na forma de jatos turbulentos essencialmente horizontais através de uma ranhura ou uma série de furos. sendo providos, em sua parte inferior, meios seladores (1) localizados no mesmo lado da tira (2) que são separados por uma folga (B) idêntica para todos os tubos (1) , que é determinada em um dado valor de taxa de fluxo específica do fluido refrigerante expresso em m¬ 3¬ per hora e per m¬ 2¬ de uma superfície da tira de modo a minimizar a perda de fluxo nas passagens de evacuação correspondentes à citada folga (B).
