Abstract

"SEGMENTO DE TUBO PARA UMA LINHA DE TRANSFERêNCIA PARA TRANSPORTAR MATERIAL PARTICULADO QUENTE". A presente invenção refere-se a um segmento de tubo inclui uma seção de tubo externo (2) e interno (4), com a seção de tubo interno sendo colocada dentro da seção de tubo externo, e um dispositivo de suporte (44, 14, 64) que sustenta a seção de tubo interno em relação à seção de tubo externo, de modo que a seção de tubo interno possa se expandir axialmente em relação à seção de tubo externo em resposta a mudanças de temperatura no material que está sendo transportado no segmento de tubo. Além disto, a presente invenção se refere a uma linha de transferência para transportar material particulado quente, tal como finos de minério de ferro, em um gás carreador, cuja linha de transferência possui uma pluralidade destes segmentos de tubo, e a um processo para transportar material particulado quente em um gás carreador em uma usina de fusão redutora direta para produzir metal em fusão a partir de um material de alimentação metalífero, em particular entre uma unidade de pré-tratamento e um dispositivo de suprimento de sólidos na forma de lanças para injetar o material em um vaso de fusão redutora direta.
