Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A REDUçãO DE COMPOSTOS DE METAL-OXIGêNIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de redução de um composto de metal - oxigênio, onde o carbono atua como um agente de redução, que compreende em um primeiro estágio de reação a passagem de gás de CO para uma câmara de reação que contém o referido composto de metal - oxigênio, sob condições tais que o CO seja convertido em carbono sólido e dióxido de carbono, desse modo se introduzindo o referido carbono sólido assim formado para o referido composto de metal - oxigênio, e um segundo estágio de reação, que faz com que o referido carbono, o qual é introduzido no composto de metal - oxigênio no referido primeiro estágio de reação, reduza o referido composto de metal - oxigênio, onde está presente, pelo menos no referido segundo estágio de reação, um primeiro material promotor efetivo para a promoção da redução do referido composto de metal - oxigênio, o primeiro material promotor compreendendo um primeiro metal promotor e/ou um composto de um primeiro metal promotor. A invenção também se refere a um aparelho para a realização da redução de um composto de metal - oxigênio, onde o carbono atua como um agente de redução.
