Abstract

"SINCRONIZAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE BROADCAST OFDM UTILIZANDO PILOTOS MULTIPLEXADOS POR DIVISãO DE TEMPO". Em um sistema OFDM, um transmissor difunde um primeiro piloto TDM através de um primeiro conjunto de sub-bandas seguido por um segundo piloto TDM através de um segundo conjunto de sub-bandas em cada quadro. As sub-bandas em cada conjunto são selecionadas dentre N sub-bandas totais de tal forma que (1) um símbolo OFDM para o primeiro piloto TDM contenha pelo menos S1 sequências idênticas de piloto-1 de comprimento L1 e (2) um símbolo OFDM para o segundo piloto TDM contenha pelo menos S2 seqüências idênticas de piloto-2 de comprimento L2, em que , , e. O transmissor 2 pode também difundir um piloto FDM. Um receptor processa o primeiro piloto TDM para obter a temporização de quadros (por exemplo, efetuando a correlação entre diferentes seqüências piloto-1) e também processa o segundo piloto TDM para obter a temporização de símbolos (por exemplo, pela detecção do início de uma estimativa de resposta de impulso de canal derivada a partir do segundo piloto TDM).
