Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA REDUZIR O TEMPO DE SINCRONIZAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO CDMA SEM FIO". Um método e um sistema para gerar canais de ligação enviada em uma estação base CDMA síncrona possuindo uma seq³ência piloto de pseudo ruído (PN) com um offset de seq³ência PN piloto. Em uma modalidade, o método inclui as etapas de gerar um canal de sincronização (302) incluindo uma mensagem de canal de sincronização; gerar um canal de identificação incluindo pelo menos o offset de seq³ência PN piloto; e ortogonalizar o canal de sincronização e o canal de identificação. O canal de identificação e o canal de sincronização são ambos transmitidos. No entanto, a estação móvel pode obter o offset do piloto PN a partir do canal de identificação rapidamente, em lugar de ter que demodular toda a mensagem do canal de sincronização. O canal de identificação pode também incluir uma indicação da fase da seq³ência PN piloto e o período da seq³ência PN piloto. Em uma modalidade, o método inclui a codificação do canal de identificação usando um código Golay.
